YEAR 4 - Staffing

Year 4 is split into 2 classes with the following staff:

4CM - Mrs Morris and  Mrs Bryan

4CJ - Miss Johnson and Miss Wrigley (Teaching Assistant)

We are all approachable, so if you have any queries or problems, or you just want to find out how your child is getting on, please feel free to say hello!

Friday 15th June: Class Worship (parents invited).

During this half-term, P.E. in year will be on the following days:

4CJ – Mondays and Wednesdays

4CM/AB – Wednesdays and Thursdays

Please ensure that your child has their full uniform in school on those days.

Homework will be handed out on a Friday and is to be completed by every child by the following Wednesday. Children can expect to receive one piece of homework for maths and literacy each week and the work will be closely linked to what we have studied throughout the week.

We expect your child to read at least 5 times a week at home and have their reading diaries signed. The class with the best weekly percentage will win the Reading Champion Award.

We have been finding out all about solids liquids and gases, and how materials can change between these states.

We investigated if gases weigh anything using these different fizzy drinks. We found out about Joseph Priestley who discovered carbon dioxide.

We used drama to explain how particles move when they are in different states.

Spiritual SPARKLE

We had a spiritual themed SPARKLE day on 20th October and created this fantastic collage of our creation!
