School Timetable

Children going home for lunch should not return before 1.00 pm if they are in Years 1 – 2 and 1.15pm if they are in Years 3 – 6.

Playtimes:
Children in the Foundation Stage have outside activities throughout the day.

Years 1 – 2 have a morning break at 10.45 a.m .– 11.00 a.m.
Years 3 – 6 have a morning break at 11.05 a.m. – 11.20 a.m.
Years 1 – 2 have an afternoon break at 2.15p.m. – 2.30 p.m.

Start of School Day:

Children should arrive at school 10 minutes before their start time but no earlier since there is no supervision on the yard beforehand. Staff are on duty outside for 10 minutes, to ensure the pupils are lined up and ready to come into school at the start of their day. Playing on the outside equipment is not allowed except when under the supervision of a member of staff.

End of School Day

Children should clear the school site as quickly as possible at the end of the day. Infant pupils will only be released to a responsible and known adult when school finishes. Parents of infant pupils should always inform their child who will be collecting them each afternoon.

If, as a result of an emergency and there is any change, the School Office (Tel. 234800) should be informed before the finish of school. Parents who are likely to be delayed should also inform the school immediately. Teachers have other commitments after school and pupils cannot be looked after regularly at the end of the school day.

Snacks at Mid - morning break.
All children can bring to school a water bottle and they have access to water at all times.

In Foundation Stage, daily milk and fruit is provided, free of charge and toast can be purchased for 75p per week. 
In Key Stage One, daily milk can be purchased by parents, paid termly in advance, and daily fruit is provided free of charge. 
In Key Stage Two, milk and toast can be purchased by the children and fruit may be brought from home. Toast and milk money, for each week, is paid to the class teacher on Monday morning.
